Key Responsibilities
Lab Setup for customers (software and hardware) Install, configure, and maintain Self-Checkout (SSCO), Point of Sale, and other retail solutions.Implement networking configurations, VPN access, security policies, and firewall rules.Monitor lab health, logs, and infrastructure stability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).Customer Demonstrations & Technical EnablementLead technical demonstrations of NCR’s NextGen products to customers and stakeholders.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams on all aspects of a project from demo, to launch planning and execution with velocity and quality. Provide technical training to customers.Capture feedback from customer demos and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.Develop and manage cloud-based lab environments for customer labs (AWS, GCP, Azure).Integrate monitoring, logging, and security best practices into the lab setup and deployments.Debug and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues in lab and customer environments.Collaborate with the engineering team to report issues, propose fixes, and optimize product stability.Ensure out-of-the-box configurations are leveraged for efficient and scalable deployments.Assist in customer onboarding by providing technical guidance on solution implementation.Participate in community source initiatives with Global NPI teams to enhance NextGen products with real-world use cases.Stay updated on emerging cloud, and retail technologies to improve technical capabilities.Key Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience:
9+ years of experience in software deployments, technical consulting, system integration, or cloud infrastructure.Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar).Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud automation.Cloud expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure (EC2, Lambda, Kubernetes, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers).Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, TLS/SSL, load balancers).Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).Experience working with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
