Position Overview

Autodesk has an exciting opportunity within our Customer Success Organisation for a position focused on helping our Enterprise customers implementing innovative design automation for their building and infrastructure design processes. As a Technical Consultant, you will work directly with customers to understand their design processes, specify, and implement the automation solution built on Autodesk's Cloud and Desktop Products.

Responsibilities

Work with customers to review their design process optimization needsDevelop customised and configured solutions on top of Autodesk primary products ( Autodesk Revit®)Develop platform solutions applying Autodesk Platform Services (APS, https://aps.autodesk.com/)Establish credibility at all levels with clients and build partnershipsProduce written documentation of solutionsConfigure Autodesk products according to customer requirementsContribute to Autodesk IP and assets through methods development and sales collateralLead training and adoption efforts for customersOccasional travel might be required

Minimum Qualifications 

Knowledge of tools and programming languages for writing and modifying programs that comprise an application system (focus C# and other .NET programming languages)Highest proficiency and dominion of Autodesk's Revit APIFor cloud-based solutions, experience in programming leveraging Autodesk's APS platformEffectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needsKnowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React and Angular, is requiredAbility to abstract complex technical problems to different audiencesGood skills in resolving customer problems with an "out of the box".Ability to build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors, and peers. This includes the ability to assess customer needs and generate appropriate solutions to problems or identified needsKnowledge of and ability to consult on delivery of new business applicationsKnowledge of and experience in constructing software products or systems in line with its requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of concepts and philosophies regarding the design and deployment of information technologies and associated architectural concepts, principles, and toolsDocument current state design processesAbility to map customer requirements to Autodesk solutionsGood vision and imagination5+ years of experience with of Autodesk's AEC Product Portfolio (AutoCAD® or its products, Navisworks, and Dynamo) and their APIsExperience designing, develop and test workflows for and implement practical business solutionsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related degree. Advanced degree (MS, MBA,)
