Responsible for data modeling and data architecture, and assisting in design, architecture, and implementation of data solutions (relational and non-relational), data pipelines, and data flows. Analyze, design, and implement data models while working alongside ADP technology, data, and product stakeholders to understand their data requirements. Play a significant role in designing canonical logical and physical data models to onboard relevant data sets into our data platform. Perform data analysis to understand a domain, design the canonical data model, and document the transformation of data within the data pipeline to satisfy the requirements of the data consumers. Participate in scrum meetings, identify, and communicate data analysis and design priorities within a sprint, and drive data requirements with stakeholders. Perform data modelling using industry standard tools, document the data definitions and mapping rules for data flow, and ensure the transformed data meets the requirements of the consumers. Retrieve and transform data.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus eight (8) years of related experience required. Work Experience. Five (5) years of experience must include: Data modeling/data architecture; Design, architecture, and implementation of data solutions (relational, non-relational), data pipelines and flows; Data compute, storage, and security components; Using a cloud platform, including AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake, for Big Data; Creating enterprise grade data models and data modeling tool Erwin; Database structure, principles for relational and non-relational databases; SQL and Data warehousing concepts; and Building data solutions, including data warehouses, data pipelines, and real time data integrations.
