As a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) – Europe, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and market insights to support NuSil’s commercial team and customers. You will play a pivotal role in driving NuSil’s growth strategy within the Biomaterials (BM) and Advanced Technology (AT) segments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the commercial team to identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and product promotion.
Acting as the applications subject matter expert (SME) to expand the use of NuSil’s existing product portfolio.
Supporting customers with technical training, troubleshooting, and qualification activities to drive business success.
Representing NuSil at trade shows, conferences, and customer engagements as the technical face of the business.
Conducting market and competitive analysis to guide NuSil’s product development and growth strategy.

This is a field-based position, and candidates can be located anywhere in Europe.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise, business acumen, and customer engagement skills.

Education & Experience

B.S. in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Solid years of experience in the silicone industry (preferred).Experience in a customer-facing technical role (preferred).Familiarity with fabrication and testing methods used in silicone component manufacturing.Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.Ability to travel ~50% of the time.

Key Skills & Expertise

Deep knowledge of silicone chemistry and materials science.Strong understanding of high-purity silicone markets, including competitors and regulatory bodies.Extensive experience with customer fabrication processes (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, dip coating, spray coating).Ability to analyze patents, market trends, and competitive landscapes.Strong organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.Proactive self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
