The Technical Advisor I provides world-class service and support to all internal and external customers via the contact center. This position is part of our Customer Resolution Team located in Loveland, CO, and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Handle basic incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers providing prompt, accurate answers.

Identify and manage customer escalations and utilize cross-functional relationships to negotiate ‘win-win’ solutions.

Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support on testing systems and Hach chemistry methods.

Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Voice of Customer, (VOC), and drive continuous improvement.

Identify sales opportunities, understand the industries, vertical markets, and products, and submit leads to drive appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customer.

Other duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include

BA or BS degree preferred.

Aptitude for working in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent preferred.

Electrical and mechanical aptitude required.

Experience in one or more of Hach’s key markets (drinking water, wastewater, and industrial) preferred.

1-2 years experience in customer service, technical support, field service, and/or previous supervisor experience preferred. Prior call center experience is helpful.

Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Office.

Experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle (ERP) preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $26.45 - $26.45 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
