You'll have...

Bachelor of Science in Engineering 10+ years of experience within VHE engineering, preference for 5+ years experience in VSET Systems & Integration. Demonstrated courage, humility, decisiveness, flexibility, knowledge, and vision. Proven technical depth and ability to make decisions and balanced trade-offs. Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross-functional teams (Program, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers). Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs. Outstanding communication skills (open, clear and inclusive) up to senior management. Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results. High integrity with effective coaching and mentoring skills. Availability to travel globally as requires, including extensive on-site launch support. Strong fundamentals and working knowledge of Cost, Appearance, and GPDS processes.

Serve as the Global lead for the development & deployment of VSET Systems & Integration processes, methods, communications, and deliverables. Act as the Gatekeeper for the development and deployment of VSET Systems & Integration efficiency tools, methods, templates, and processes. Become the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for working with their functional engineering peers / Technical Specialists to manage processes and communication of requirements.

What you'll do...

Global lead for the development & deployment of VSET Systems & Integration processes, methods, communications, and deliverables. Gatekeeper for the development and deployment of VSET Systems & Integration efficiency tools, methods, templates, and processes. Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for working with their functional engineering peers / Technical Specialists to manage processes and communication of requirements. Work with Global Resource Planning to ensure alignment on Large and Small programs to support containment of balanced cycle plan. Refine and maintain staffing models, including change in operations, like SET programs. Refine and maintain Roles and Responsibilities for VHE Systems and Integration teams, looking for efficiency improvement within and outside of VHE to enable cycle plan assumptions Drive improvement in databases and tools to ensure alignment to organizational changes (IE, parts roll up to the correct functions.) Drive Process & Tool alignment for pre-program target setting. Pull together the currently independent teams setting targets for material cost, weight, etc to ensure compatibility in assumptions. Investigate usage of AI tools to enable / ensure compatibility in assumptions. Work with planning, functions, and cost process teams to provide model or scaling database for small scale programs, which typically receive limited support from architects, etc. Investigate use of AI / Machine Learning to improve target delivery Refine processes for R&O, Roadmaps, XVL implications, to improve Status to Target Management during program development phase (PS to FDJ).
