Tech Services Technician
As a Tech Services Technician you will be responsible for assisting with waste processing within the warehouse and assisting customer onsite with waste management programs. \n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices\nAssists with waste processing in the warehouse (including weighing, scanning, and moving containers both manually and with a forklift) \nAssists customer onsite with waste management program such as waste collection, bulking, and waste area inspections\nAssists Field Chemists in the segregation of chemicals by hazardous class \nUtilizes thorough knowledge of storing and processing procedures based on Customer's SOPs and Company protocols. \nDevelops good client relationships by effectively communicating with customers \nCommunicates effectively with project manager regarding customer's needs \nPerforms basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties\nOperates a fork truck and skid-steer with attachments\nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization\n\n

Education:\n\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent (required)\nSome science-related college coursework (preferred)\n\n

Experience: \n\n1+ years of related experience (required)\n40 hour HAZWOPER certificate (preferred)\n\n

Competencies:\n\nAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner\nWorking knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and general industry practices\nExcellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts\nAbility to lift up to 60lbs\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, including a respirator \nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the essential functions and requirements of this role \n\n
