We are today a team of approximate 45+ people and have five ventures. Our office space is very central at Drottninggatan in Stockholm.

Job description 

As Venture Tech Lead (Venture CTO) for Elain, you'll lead the technology direction, oversee all technological functions, and ensure timely product and project delivery as the company scales.  

 

Reporting to our Thech Domain manager, this senior leadership role involves managing the technical team, engaging with the board and Scania senior management, and effectively leading people to achieve our ambitious goals. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

In the role of Tech Lead for a venture your main key task will be:  

 

Technical Leadership and product strategy: Provide strategic oversight and direction for our technology roadmap, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with Elain's business objectives, as we scale.  

Project and Product Delivery: Oversee product delivery and customer project implementation, emphasizing quality and timeliness.   

Operational Excellence: Ensure robust, scalable, and secure systems and architecture, with comprehensive contingency planning and data protection measures.  

Team Leadership: Lead, structure, and mentor the technology team, including full-stack developers and customer integration leads, ensuring effective recruitment and team development.  

Ways of Working: Establish and maintain an efficient, transparent, and agile framework for the technology team. Implement clear performance KPIs and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.  

 

About you 

We seek someone with strong experience within UX who can work with the full process within user experience. It is crucial that you are a positive influence and a good collaborator as you will interact with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders. Good communication skills are key since you will be interacting closely with business executives both across the company and externally. You are a goal-oriented doer and a team player that loves to see how our business is growing. 

We also believe that you (requirements): 

Have 7+ years of experience in Engineering Management roles, with a documented history of transforming and scaling solutions and teams.  

Posses strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, plus a demonstrated ability of translating business objectives into technology strategies and execution plans.  

Have proven experience in scaling software development projects, SaaS platforms, and organisations/teams, as well as developing data and analytics platforms, and implementing real-time data processing systems. Familiarity with machine learning and AI frameworks is desirable.  

Can communicate complex technical concepts effectively across all levels of the organisation.  

Demonstrate capacity to lead organisations and projects from concept to implementation, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.  

Hold relevant educational qualifications.
