As a Tech Lead in Web,  you will be responsible for the technical excellence within the team, playing a key role in steering the team on architecture and best practices, as well as working at the project level on solution design, documentation, and execution.

This is an exciting opportunity as the team is currently in the process of migrating to a modern stack on Next.js and React, running on the Edge runtime.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

Skills you already have:

Evolve and document the architecture (with the team) in line with system requirements and the engineering strategy Collaborate with other tech leads on the engineering best practices and foundational principles (Forums & RFCs) Be a mentor and coach to your peers - work to continually help others to up-skill and learn Experience with the BFF(Backend for Frontend) pattern Influence towards a culture of investing in continuous improvement, root causing resolution, and automation A history of  writing high quality, scalable, code - we primarily use Next.js and React for our Frontend and Node.js on our BFF Experience in developing distributed, high transactional and available systems In-depth knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, scaling architecture,  Great problem-solving skills. A passion for observability and monitoring of the services you build. 5 years of relevant work experience BSc Computer Science or equivalent is encouraged (strong work experience can fill this gap)
