The Tech Design Intern, Apparel will work closely with our Design team on a variety of projects, including:

Supporting the technical garment development of the designated collections Assisting in maintaining accurate and organized records of samples and technical specifications Assisting in fit sessions by note-taking and taking photos Organizing, tagging, and maintaining tech design garment samples, ensuring their availability for meetings. Steam or press garments for fittings as needed. Assisting the Technical Design Team in compiling Wear Test Results Supporting the Technical Design Team by staying updated on industry trends, advancements in fit and construction techniques, and emerging technologies related to technical design Assisting in maintaining and organizing the fit sample library and pattern archives Assisting the Technical Design team in reviewing, measuring, and recording sample submissions from manufacturers to ensure integrity of garments, as specified by the Tech Pack Help compiling, analyzing, and inputting information into PLM system to deliver a comprehensive Tech Pack for a maker, which includes accurate measurement charts, sewing construction specifications, and sample requests Assisting in reviewing and analyzing design sketches and prototypes to identify potential issues Supporting the Tech Design team in any other tasks or projects as assigned Other duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Tech Design or related field. GPA of 3.0 or above. Strong time management skills in order to meet project deadlines. Good oral communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive attitude. Willingness to ask questions to confirm accuracy for understanding. Ability to work at Jockey's corporate office in Kenosha, WI.  (No relocation or housing assistance provided for this position.)
