You'll have...
A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering 8 or more years of experience in Industrial Engineering 4 or more years of manufacturing/assembly process experience Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments Validated skill set needed to have job placement flexibility and the expectation to rotate to various positions within the plant, such as Production or Quality Must display strong customer orientation and commitment to upholding plant processes through strict adherence to the Quality Operating System Demonstrated success in achieving results, while organizing and managing multiple priorities Proven willingness to take a participatory approach to union relations and be a team player Strong and confident technical mentor to the production organization (both hourly and salary) and within the IE organization A successful history of planning, coordinating, and executing work allocations/efficiencies within a specified timeframe Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated project management skills Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Even better, you may have...

Lead ergonomics improvement and problem-solving through IE actions Lead workstation setup and optimization Implement engineering changes that affect the workstation and allocations. Supervise/coach IEs with time study schedules (e.g., MODAPTS) Interface with union/works council and Health and Safety to settle job disputes and ergonomic issues Lead headcount cost savings projects Supervise monthly tracking of progress in VPOS Lead cycle line layout Supervise planning for mix and line speed changes Lead/manage departmental rolls analysis for weekly manpower meetings to ensure proper labor staffing and strategy Lead future model labor development (design, cycle line layouts, future model allocations) Serve as the main resource for plant IE training/assistance
