The Team Leader assists with the daily coordination and functioning of employees and resources within a department or assigned area. Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, workflow coordination and delegation. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE Required: ● High school diploma or equivalent required. ● Associates Degree in Nursing required. ● Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. ● Current Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification. Re-certification must be maintained throughout employment at Crouse Hospital. ● Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire. Preferred: ● Bachelor's Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE Required: ● Minimum of two (2) years previous nursing experience in an OR/Surgical Suite setting. SPECIAL SKILLS / EQUIPMENT ● Working knowledge of MS Outlook. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Hourly Rate $33.00 - $50.00 Based on verified education and experience
