With 599 sea-facing rooms and suites and 19 private villas, as well as 21 restaurants and bars, extensive conference and banqueting facilities, a private marina, Sinbad’s Kids Club, Talise™ Spa, and direct complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark™ for all guests, the hotel continues to redefine the holiday experience. **About the Job:** An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join Engineering team in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. **Job Purpose:** Responsible for supervising and handling technicians on the assigned shift, ensuring effective operations of the department. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise shift operations and Engineering PPM jobs. + Organize and complete maintenance works in a skilled and professional manner. + Ensure the smooth operation of the plant rooms and equipment. + Ensure all portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix. + Check and rectify all kinds of repairs, maintenance, and construction works as directed. + Ensure timely execution of Work Order PPM and General Maintenance works. + Maintain knowledge of HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/Kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs. + Understand and manage Fire Life & Safety Systems and related records. + Maintain the work area in safe and tidy conditions. + Ensure par level is maintained for fast-moving items in the stores. + Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Processes, and Procedures. + Perform other duties as requested by management. **Experience:** + Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising hotel general engineering. + Experience in a similar position is preferred. **Competencies:** + Good command of English (spoken and written). + Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system maintenance and repairs. + Physically fit, with a positive attitude, proactive, and flexible. + Able to work under minimum supervision and handle pressure. **Benefits:** We offer an attractive tax-free salary paid in Dirhams (AED), along with generous F&B benefits, reduced hotel rates across our properties globally, an excellent leave and health care package, flights home, accommodation, life insurance, functional incentives, and other employee benefits, making the role attractive to high performers and anyone seeking a career with one of the most luxurious brands in the hospitality industry.
