We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Christchurch site!

You will lead in a participative manner, promoting suggestions and ideas, involving all team members in appropriate decision-making processes. Prepare for, attend, actively and constructively contribute to, and complete actions from all meetings, ensuring likewise of other team members

Your Challenge:

Meet production goals – track and reportRespond to line stoppages and quality issues (what stops the flow)Confirm quality – routine checksCover absenteeism / overtime requests or hands onPerformance Reviews, training, cross training and developmentTE maintenance requests – Ensure all necessary TE / Tooling is available and within calibrationEnsure standard work and QMS is followedEnsure 6S routine is maintainedFacilitate small group activities, including Tier & CI meetings Ensure team compliance with health and safety requirementsMonitor team administrative policy (performance issues - investigations)

What You Bring:

Essential Criteria:

Qualification in Management to Level 3 or above (CMI Certificate in Management or equivalent)Team leadership experienceComputer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desirable Criteria:

Qualified to ONC Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)3 years in aerospace or related industry
