The Northeast Team Lead will be responsible to oversee key projects for the financial services client. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate/construction project management and managing a team that execute projects ranging $50M+. They will provide leadership, direction, and strategic guidance to the team while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with contractual requirements.


Responsibilities:


Team Management:
- Attract, retain, develop, and manage a team of professionals for a client-specific region.
- Provide leadership and direction across teams.
- Demonstrates high energy for the business, ability to energize others, act decisively and the willingness to make tough decisions.
- Ensure training and development of team members of the clients procedures, methodology, and practices.
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
- Insure leadership is fully and accurately informed of all project issues.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders and vendors.
- Monitor and manage project team and vendor performances to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory entities, and client expectations.
 
Project Execution:
- Oversee project implementation and execution through completion of construction.
- Provide strategic direction and ensure timely and accurate execution of project deliverables of the team.
- Recommend, establish, or refine best practices and standards of excellence.
- Make independent judgments related to operating procedures impacting assigned projects.
- Extensive experience in RFP development and contract negotiation 
- Ability to identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors, and omissions, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, etc.).
- Minimum of 15-20 years leading projects within complex high rise/urban real estate assets, with a focus on corporate interior scopes of work
- Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings, mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, plumbing drawings, building components, infrastructure systems, and base building utilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and grow a team of professionals.
- Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating several project managers at various levels within the organization or team.
- A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and process as they relate to corporate real estate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

290,000.00 – 300,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
