HIGHLIGHTS:
Hourly Rate: $23.65/hr plus $1/hr when working 2nd shift = $24.65/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (Tuesday-Friday) (330pm-2am)
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for supporting postponement and shipping functions at the NADC including safety, quality and productivity through knowledge around Oregon Tool’s systems.
Team leaders support team members in their daily goals, solve problems, proactively prevent problems well as help build and sustain employee engagement. Work diligently to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Team leaders will facilitate supervisors in accomplishing department and company goals including entering daily picking numbers and audit lines.
THE DETAILS
Perform special projects and complete special requests Work with shipping supervisor to plan and complete tasks in shipping, perform auditing, consolidation, or hand picking when needed. Team Lead Coordinator may need to assist with picking orders using a Reach Truck or Cherry Picker, emptying trash bins and moving product. Leadership & Support Seek leadership when there are questions, and support leadership by following direction. Provide training to team members as needed. Communication and Documentation Work with supervisor/lead from previous/next shift to determine priorities and ensure proper workflow. Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents 5S (continuous) Clean and remove trash to designated areas of work and throughout daily duties. Health and Safety (continuous) Identify and report safety hazards. Follow evacuation / emergency procedures. Understand and apply hazard communication standard, lockout/tag-out, machine guarding, blood borne pathogens and confined spaces as applies to position. Understand and use correct gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes and hearing protection when required. Follow proper bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques. Adhere to motorized equipment usage and pedestrian safety
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: High School diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required. Knowledge & Experience: Entry level, some warehouse experience wanted but not necessary. Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience required. Skills/Abilities: Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner. Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions. Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and nontechnical terms. Creative thinker, Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed set a good example of personal integrity. Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes. Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance. Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve goals.
