We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Technology team at Clarivate. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a cross-cultural work environment. As a Team Lead, you will manage the Development Team within the wider team responsible for one of the Renewal ecosystems within the Intellectual Property (IP) Segment.

You will work in a cross-cultural work environment. The existing team is based in Belgrade and UK in collaboration with US and India Colleagues.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

5+ years of developing .NET applications (i.e. C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, etc.) with some Java development experience2+ years of exposure to team management or team leadership role3+ years of experience with database design using any SQL database (MS SQL or DB2)3+ years of experience with OO design and development methodologies3+ years of experience in using Jira for project management and Bitbucket, Azure Devops or GitHub for version control

It would be great if you also have . . .  

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or related degreeExperience with troubleshooting software issuesExpertise in architectural styles and design patternsExperience with automated testing practices.Experience with implementing and testing integrations between multiple systemsAgile development methodologies working experience

Overall, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the development projects and achieving business objectives through innovative and efficient agile software development practices.Lead the team in planning, refactoring, updating, and extending existing code and frameworks to ensure they remain current and maintainable, while providing technical expertise for various engineering projects.Implement creative and innovative approaches to solving complex functional and logical challengesDevelop and maintain understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodologyLeading initiatives for identifying and resolving security issues and technical debt

Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
