Job DescriptionThe QA Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers to ensure the quality of software applications with a focus on integration, Finacle core banking system, mobile and internet banking platforms, and USSD services.
Test Planning and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system.Ensure timely and effective resolution of defects.Integrated Testing
Validate the seamless integration of various systems and platforms.Test interfaces between Finacle and other applications.Verify data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.Finacle Core Banking Operation
Conduct thorough testing of Finacle functionalities.Validate transactions, account management, and other core banking operations.Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards
Mobile/Internet Banking/USSD
Test user interfaces and functionalities across different devices and browsers.Validate user authentication, transaction processing, and account inquiries.Ensure a seamless and user-friendly banking experience.Test USSD menus and functionalities.Validate transaction processing and information retrieval via USSD.Ensure accessibility and ease of use for USSD users.
Automation Testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.Execute automated tests and analyze results.Enhance test coverage and efficiency through automationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing.Minimum 2 years of experience leading a QA team.Certifications in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE)Experience
