Job DescriptionTo serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by administering the day-to-day operations of Wine service areas in the hotel. As Tea Master, it will be your responsibility to direct and ensure the implementation and execution of policies and procedures as they relate to tea sales. You will create new opportunities to maximize and generate extra revenue, recommend measures to control/reduce costs and ensure that the operational budgets are strictly adhered to. The leadership team will look to you to develop and recommend merchandising and promotional programs to maximize tea sales. Additionally you will provide training and development opportunities for all team members in your department. You will be responsible for exceeding guest satisfaction, standards, and ratings for the tea service on the property and personally make recommendations, serve VIPs, and handle guest questions or concerns.
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve various types of tea to customersManage and maintain inventory of tea leaves, brewing equipment, and other suppliesProvide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfactionCreate and develop unique and innovative tea blendsTrain and supervise team members on proper tea preparation and customer service skillsKeep the tea room clean and organizedAdhere to health and safety regulations when handling food and beveragesStay up to date with industry trends and new tea varieties.QualificationsRequirements:
Knowledge of different tea types and their brewing methodsAbility to create unique tea blendsExperience in operating tea-making equipment and toolsExcellent customer service and communication skillsFamiliarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage serviceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to work on weekends and holidaysWillingness to continuously learn and improve tea-making skills and knowledge.
