**Job Description:**
**Program at a Glance**
The trading graduate program is a 1-year program where the successful candidate will spend time rotating between the Global Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Credit Trading desks, gaining exposure to trading activity while working on broad based project initiatives. Through this experience, candidates will get first-hand experience in managing life cycles of client flow across the different facets of businesses. From product pricing to risk management, candidates will aim to complete the program and develop into a cross asset trader.
The role will involve working closely with the senior traders, developing a technical understanding of the trading business and eventually executing transactions under supervision. The candidate will be expected to leverage their technical skill set including the use of data science techniques to work on process improvement and streamlining day to day activities. At the end or during the program, candidates may be offered opportunities to join a trading desk in a full-time capacity.
**Objectives of the program**
+ Develop and Implement Trading Strategies
- Utilize quantitative and data-driven techniques to develop trading strategies
+ Data Analysis and Research - Perform in-depth analysis of market data and client trade data
- Leverage data analytics techniques to analyze datasets
+ Risk Management
- Apply quantitative methods and trading tools to implement risk strategies
- Development of risks and P&L regional summaries
+ Complete multiple projects that may relate to market research, product pricing, economic outlooks and client facing businesses
**Key attributes required**
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
+ **Strong programming skills (Highly proficient R / Python, or other programming languages)**
+ Final year Bachelors' and Masters' graduates in Mathematical or Statistical disciplines
+ Quick learner and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
+ Has a team-oriented attitude
+ Has strong communication skills
+ Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and commitment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
+ Good command of English
