Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Accountant in the Financial Services / Family office industry, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves dealing with various aspects of tax management in a corporate setting. Responsibilities: • Preparation of federal income tax returns in a timely and accurate manner. • Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. • Keep track and prepare tax file work papers regularly. • Utilize spreadsheet software for various tax-related calculations and data management. • Handle corporate tax duties, including partnership taxes. • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all tax-related activities. • Proactively monitor and manage customer accounts. • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. • Maintain accurate customer credit records. • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Federal Tax • Proficiency in partnership tax is required • Demonstrable ability to use spreadsheet software effectively • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is desirable • CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it is a plus • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Team player with the ability to work independently when required For immediate consideration, please email your resume to Carol Nichols, SVP Robert Half Finance and Accounting, at carol.nichols@roberthalf.C0M.
