Tax Senior
The Tax Senior role is responsible for preparing various types of taxes such as federal, state, and local taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations. This involves researching complex tax issues, preparing tax returns and financial statements, filing all necessary tax-related documents, and representing clients during audits. The Tax Senior will also provide tax planning services to ensure clients are compliant with all tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial information to prepare accurate tax returns and financial statements. Advise clients on the best tax strategies and provide guidance on how to minimize tax liabilities. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure proper filing. Represent clients during tax audits and other proceedings. Manage and coordinate the process of preparing and filing tax returns and other tax documents. Identify and report any discrepancies or potential areas of risk. Provide recommendations to clients on how to maximize deductions and credits.Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a tax-related role. Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Excellent research and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and specialized tax software. CPA or EA certification preferred.Benefits
