Description We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity within the industry. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing business and personal tax returns, utilizing various accounting software systems, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Prepare business and personal tax returns with high attention to detail • Utilize Drake Tax Software and other accounting software systems to process tax returns • Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and maintaining accurate customer records • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of tax returns and deductions • Conduct accounting functions as required, including working with ADP - Financial Services and CCH ProSystem Fx • Understand and apply knowledge of allowances and deductions in tax preparation • Work within a small team environment, managing workload efficiently.
