Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Tax Preparer to be a part of our team. This role is based in Aurora, Colorado, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Tax Preparer, you will be handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. Responsibilities • Accurately and efficiently dealing with customer tax-related inquiries. • Utilizing Lacerte Tax Software for processing customer tax applications. • Ensuring the maintenance of precise customer financial records. • Regularly monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions as needed. • Providing excellent customer service to address and resolve any issues or concerns. • Documenting all transactions and interactions for future reference. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for expense reporting and tracking deductibles. • Ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and guidelines. • Maintaining proficiency in various accounting software systems. • Assisting customers in understanding their deductible expenses and financial records. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a related role. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. • Experience with Lacerte Tax Software is highly desirable. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Strong customer service skills. • Familiarity with deductible items in tax preparation. • Ability to accurately document and maintain financial records. • Experience in expense reporting.
