Manages projects to implement new clients in Tax Filing. Oversee setup of tax filings (federal, state, local withholding) for assigned legal entities based on tax jurisdiction guidelines. Manage projects for new client implementations, including attending meetings and assuring all projects tasks are completed.
As a Tax Filing Implementation Lead duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Communicate clear and effectively with both external clients and internal groups
Ability to manage multiple project plans and projects at one time
Able to perform root cause analysis on issues that come up during projects with taxes
Setting up company in the tax system
Creating Power of Attorneys for all jurisdictions
EFT Setup and Testing
EFT Registrations to tax agencies
Registration support for new clients
Payroll System to Tax Filing System Integration Testing
Bank Testing (both internally and with external client)
Ensure smooth landing of new client projects
Strong reconciliation skills
Support offshoring initiatives
Support and investigate regulatory and compliance issues when needed
Support teams and clients on Mergers and Acquisition type projects
Liaison with Payroll Client teams and Clients during projects
Manage Vendor Work that is assigned
Assist on SOP changes needed and communicate to appropriate teams
Recognize need for process improvement and communicate to appropriate teams
Supports formal internal and external audits and understands legislated requirements pertaining to such.
Requirements:
Ability to Multitask and prioritize without supervision
Ability to manage projects to a successful outcome
Advanced Excel knowledge including tables, pivot tables, formulas, etc.
Proven ability to research issues directly with tax agencies
Self-starter that is well organized
Tax Filing Experience
Education
3+ years of payroll tax filing experience
Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication skills required
2+ Years of Payroll Tax Filing experience
2+ Years client interaction and management
Proficient in Excel, i.e. pivot tables, vlook-ups, macro development, etc
2+ years’ experience with tax filing software required
Master Tax experience highly preferred
ADP Smart Compliance experience desired
Specific Skills
Basic understanding of payroll, tax, project management and/or related subject matter desired Basic understanding of regulatory and legislative guidelines desired
Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks
Customer service/client facing communication preferred
Detail oriented

Salary Pay Range
Minimum :
55,800 USDMaximum :
