The company is currently seeking an experienced Tax Accountant II.

Responsibilities

Major Areas of Responsibility

 

Form 1120 Corporate Tax Compliance – Experience in:

Foreign reporting within US Corporate Tax Return including, Form 5471,5472, 8858, 1118Preparation of Canadian Corporate Tax ReturnsForm 1042 Form 1120FPreparation of State and local corporate tax returns

Quarterly Tax Provision

Quarterly tax provision preparation

Other experience required

Knowledge of tax depreciation rulesPersonal Property Tax reporting

Knowledge

Computer Programs— Strong working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelEnglish Language— Knowledge of structure and content of English language including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent3-4 years experience in a corporate tax department (public or private) is requiredExperience with Longview Tax Provision Software a plusExperience in preparing corporate income tax returns and/or provision work requiredExperience with SAP a plusCPA not required

 

Demonstrated Physical Abilities

Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
