Talent Specialist II

The Talent Management Specialist ll is responsible for supporting the HR Project Lifecycle of Talent Management Programs. This is including but not limited to: Talent Assessment, Performance Appraisals, Career Pathing, Succession Planning, Onboarding, Internships, and Apprenticeships. The Talent Management Specialist ll will build and execute project plans, identify organizational needs and improvements related to talent, and build resources for business leaders to assist in developing associates in line with Medxcel culture. This position will be located at Medxcel Central Office- Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities Project Management (50%) Execute the Talent Management vision of projects. Manage multiple initiatives across multiple projects at a time, and effectively bring to surface any areas of improvement. Assist in the monitoring of project effectiveness and providing concise report outs upon completion. Work closely with other HR/Business Leaders in communicating project plans and initiatives. Provide improvement ideas when possible. Ensure the projects implemented are meaningful and consistent. Organizational Development (50%) Be a change advocate in the organization while implementing new or improving on current Talent Management Projects. Ability to organize and use data to identify development opportunities in the organization. Connect projects and individuals that should be in the know of projects and initiatives to ensure alignment for an organized delivery. Qualifications Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience required. Experience: 2 years’ experience with related associate or bachelor’s degree, or 4 years’ related experience in lieu of degree required. Experience in a multilocation organization preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communication – ability to communicate both written and orally in a multilocation organization, both in person and remotely in all areas of the organization. Proactive use of time to ensure preparedness and organized delivery of Talent Management to align to business needs. Organized and detail oriented. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and associates across the organization. Strong in consultative skills in determining stakeholder needs and providing recommended solutions. Understand and implement TM philosophy in a way that is aligned to specific needs of the business. Critical thinking skills to organize complex problems in a way that is easily relayed to appropriate levels of the organization. Prioritize projects and stakeholders in a changing environment. Experience in executing talent programs, with the ability to provide potential solutions. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Smartsheet. Travel Required: Up to 10% based on organization and department priorities. #MFMCORP
