Key Responsibilities:

Regional Training Management

Gather all training needs across region to create training plan for SSA Evaluate requests for training as per business objectives and BEE focus Facilitate the learnership, internships and YES programs Identify, assess, working with and manage internal and external training suppliers on both content creation and delivery of soft skills, leadership and technical trainings. Ensure all training content and drive are to the highest levels in the business. Drive ITC Training with SSA region Plan and drive all Knowledge sharing activities in SSA in conjunction with countries. Ensure employees and managers are aware of training offerings. Support region on R&R plans & initiatives  Support region on employee wellbeing plans & initiatives Capture all L&D information for compilation of statutory and organizational reporting. Ensure accurate recording of all L&D activities (Formal / informal). Implement a learning culture - fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within Ipsos SSA. They encourage employees to take ownership of their learning and provide opportunities for self-directed learning, knowledge sharing, and skill-building. 

Learnership, YES and Internment Management programs

Facilitate needs assessment relating to learnership programmes and develop annual learner intake plan. Recruitment of learners, interns and YES agents  Ensure intake of learners as per intake plan and ensure learner allocation. Ensure sign-on and learner induction as per policy and procedure. Track, monitor and report learner progress. Facilitate placement of unemployed learners to meet organization’s strategic objectives.

BBBEE Reporting

Compile Annual Training Report and Work Skills Plan reporting for SA  Ensure all necessary training records are up to date and maintained for employment equity purposes and ensure you develop & submit ATR (Annual Training Report) and WSP (Workplace Skills Plan) to SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities).by the specified time  Return of Skills Levy claimable from SETA Ensure that the EE report is submitted to the Department of Labour annually

Experience and Qualifications:

Relevant Degree Knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology. Experience in training, BBBEE, Skills and good understanding of business training and development needs Logical mindset and good problem-solving skills. Sound trouble-shooting skills. Exceptional time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines. Sound team management and work scheduling experience. Work requires willingness to work to a flexible schedule. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to build strong links with the other departments of the business. Be proactive and self-motivated. Excellent team player
