The opportunity.
The Talent Development and Learning Team for EY Canada is seeking a personable and proactive individual to help us execute the processes required by our CPA students to become members with their local CPA Body. The incumbent will work primarily with EY’s National CPA team but will also have significant interaction with CPA students from all service lines within EY.
The CPA Student Program Coordinator is responsible for answering inquiries from CPA students regarding practical experience and educational policies and processes which lead to CPA membership. The CPA Student Program Coordinator's work includes discussions with students, performing transactions, data entry, records management and other practical experience and educational processes.
Your key responsibilities:
Assist EY’s National CPA team with implementation and communication of major processes including onboarding, registration, practical experience requirements, education requirements, annual dues, and departures Support and coordination of virtual/on-site training events including, identification of class participants, facility location, timing, session counts, physical/virtual class setup (including production technologies i.e. Zoom), and general course planning Participate in presentations and learning sessions with CPA students as a co-presenter and producer, as needed Maintain and update the internal education tracker with module exam registrations and exam results Assist in the compilation of national examination results for CPA students, including CPA Canada’s Common Final Exam (“CFE”); Assist with annual CFE celebration event planning processes Maintains the appropriate level of CPA practical experience and educational process knowledge, customer satisfaction, and quality metrics. Utilizes all available knowledge sources, procedures and tools Answer routine practical experience and education questions from CPA students and assist with problem solving (chat, email and phone), escalating issues as necessary Assists in updating practical experience and education procedures and policy documents on the firm sites (i.e. SharePoint) Participates in regular status update meetings with the National CPA Team; and Helps with special projects as necessary.
