Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:           

  

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAnswers inquiries from colleagues and applicants, referring to appropriate managers/department heads when necessaryFulfill the administrative functions of the department including typing, filing, distribution of mail, photocopies, fax, reports, maintaining stationary supplies, ordering and purchasing, ensuring smooth paper flow through the department and maintenance of all HR Communication BoardsMaintain a confidential organized filing system for employee files, correspondence, policies, standards, regulations, and employment applicationsDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyEnforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordinglyProcess onboarding for new employees
Qualifications
Previous human resources leadership experience requiredStrong leadership skills to guide an HR team and support and motivate staffThe ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflictsExcellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalize ideas
