Position Summary:
This full cycle recruiting position will support the Texas region within HUB and will be based out of our office in downtown Dallas, Texas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will act as a strategic recruiting business partner while balancing those responsibilities with other HR and onboarding duties. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must be adept at proactively building pipelines of qualified candidates and a fearless pursuer of passive candidates.
Job Duties:
Execute the talent strategy for assigned regions by working with the Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Lead, Regional Presidents, and other regional leadersWork as a trusted advisor and business partner providing consultative recruitment services, consistent communication, and timely follow-through on commitments to hiring managersSource candidates for account management, administrative, customer service, sales, and other positions of varying experience levels in InsuranceDirectly source candidates, screen resumes, perform telephone screen interviews and interview candidates for referral to managersEngage in the pursuit of qualified passive candidates through business networking, cold-calling, and utilization of social networking tools such as LinkedInTrack candidates through our talent management system to ensure compliance, adherence to corporate protocol, and the proper measurement of recruiting tactics Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers and other interviewersManage recruitment processes, including onboarding, using our human capital management system (Workday) to ensure accurate and compliant records & retentionDevelop professional relationships with industry groups, local universities and civic organizations for candidate sourcing, internship partnership, and diversity outreachPlan, attend, and monitor effectiveness of multiple quarterly outreach events, and attend career fairs as needed, which support the achievement of HUB’s recruiting goalsProvide specific deliverables such as weekly reports and strategic plansMonitor the effectiveness of campaigns and overall strategy, making adjustments to consistently deliver expected results and client satisfactionInfluence outcomes through established relationships with employees, leaders, and coworkersEnsure the recruiting process and employment actions are compliant with applicable regulationsSuccessfully manage multiple competing priorities and simultaneous requisitions with aggressive timelinesFile electronic copies of employee onboarding documentation and correspondence in the appropriate file management systemAssist with the management and entry of tasks within the human capital management system (Workday) such as position creation, promotions, and other related transactions as may be assignedAssist with the tracking of employee referral bonuses and coordinate with the HR teammates for timely paymentSuccessfully build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for current and future job requisitionsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required2-4 years of experience recruiting preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention to detailProject management experienceStrong relationship building skillsExcellent initiative and intuitivenessTeam-player, highly motivated with a competitive drive and strong work ethic Ability to work well in a fast-paced environmentStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Willingness to regularly visit other local Dallas-Fort Worth area offices as may be necessary to directly interface and collaborate with hiring managersTo perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
