POSITION SUMMARY: DEVELOP YOUR CAREER WHILE HELPING OTHERS GROW THEIR OWN: As a Talent Specialist you will assist with generating interest in employment of potential applicants and sell the opportunity to live, work, and explore at our National Parks. You will work in a collaborative environment with other dedicated team members striving to help identify top tier talent and properly staff our locations to provide unbelievable experiences for our guests. This position may support one or more of our locations. Responsibilities HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: Perform job activities to ensure property hiring needs are met including meeting or exceeding interview goals. Manage all domestic recruiting efforts and candidate selection for front-line, hourly positions and other positions as assigned. Post requisitions, screen candidates, conduct and oversee interviews, extend job offers and declines. Ensure adequate job offers are issued to meet hiring needs. Maintain thorough knowledge of the locations, job responsibilities related to each of your requisitions, and lifestyle and benefits of park life at supported location(s). Ensure a professional, legally compliant, and consistent selection and onboarding experience for applicants. Consistently apply established criteria in the candidate evaluation process. Partner with Marketing Team to support external efforts to manage applicant flow. Comply with Recruiter Service Level Agreements and ensure data integrity of our applicant tracking system, iCIMS. Provide reporting as requested. Conduct intake meetings with Hiring Managers to determine job specific skills, qualifications, compensation, ideal start date and other critical information to conduct effective phone screens. Be point of contact for Hiring Managers by communicating with them in a timely, professional manner. Provide Hiring Managers with guidance and tools for hiring best practices. Maintain extensive contact with incoming employees; offer accurate directions and information regarding the Park, the Company, and job specifics. Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. Work closely with location to ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Handle pre-season and post-season talent responsibilities to include updating job descriptions, posting requisitions, interview guides, closing requisitions and candidates, engaging talent pools, and special projects as assigned. Participate in virtual or on-site hiring events as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: At least one year of previous experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition strongly preferred. Previous experience working in a high-volume hiring and/or seasonal environment strongly preferred. Professional communication skills related to telephone etiquette and written correspondence. Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others in a tactful and professional manner. Ability to balance multiple priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as a member of the Talent and larger Human Resources team. Knowledge or ability to learn Applicant Tracking systems. Prior experience with iCIMS specific products preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee information. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. COMPENSATION: The pay rate for this position is $24.50/hour. Pay rate based on the position located out of the Denver Headquarters.
