Talent Acquisition Partner - Chubb/Combined

KEY OBJECTIVE:

As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Partner is essential for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, with a strong focus on attracting and sourcing diverse talent for Combined and Chubb. This position provides strategic recruitment guidance to hiring managers and functions on a national level, reflecting the dual responsibilities of both organizations. A crucial element of this role is to cultivate and strengthen relationships with internal business partners and hiring managers from Combined and Chubb, ensuring that evolving staffing needs are met with high-quality talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work from both the Combined and Chubb offices in Markham and Toronto.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and managers to create tailored sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Identify, engage, and cultivate a diverse talent pipeline for specific business areas, providing assessments and recommendations on both internal and external talent. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to discover both passive and active candidates. Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for current and future job openings. Oversee the candidate experience, ensuring high-quality interactions throughout the recruitment process. Conduct competitive research to gain insights into our competitors' market positions. Maintain accurate information for reporting and analysis purposes. Advocate for internal candidates by filtering, screening, and actively engaging with talent within the organization. Maintain a strong emphasis on diversity while driving strategic programs and initiatives. Familiarize yourself with Chubb/Combined Canada's career paths and employee value proposition to effectively market them to potential candidates. Bachelor's degree required; HR certification and CHRP designation are preferred.Bilingual in English and French is a plus.Minimum of 2 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, ideally in a large corporation or staffing agency; insurance industry experience is highly desirable.Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Experience working in a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.Proficient in MS Office Suite and candidate tracking systems.Familiarity with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management.Strong commitment to confidentiality and comfort with handling sensitive information.Collaborative team player with flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues.Creative, proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic; must demonstrate flexibility, courage, collaboration, and resilience.Valid driver’s license required.
