This role is a hybrid position based in New York City and to be considered, candidates MUST be fluent in written and verbal French Canadian.

Job Purpose/Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The TA Partner plays a critical role ensuring we bring top talent to Antech.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage multiple searches across our reference labs and corporate functions in Canada with some responsibility for corporate functions within the US

Partner with hiring managers and P&O Business Partners to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives 

Manage full cycle recruiting process for assigned searches including intake calls with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling interviews, extending offers, etc.

Ensure job requirements and candidate assessments are clearly understood by hiring managers and interview teams

Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, business leaders and P&O business partners

Track and report key metrics to measure and predict performance

Consistently follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process and a positive candidate experience

Build relationships with colleges, trade schools and industry groups to aid in recruiting 

Lead the creation/strategy of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position 

Efficiently and effectively fill open positions meeting the established time to fill goal 

Maintain a pool of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing

Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting

Partner with agencies on an as-needed basis

Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential associates 

Education and Experience

Must be fluent in written and verbal French Canadian

Must have experience working on searches in the North American market with a focus on Canada and an understanding of local employment laws

Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition including full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, working with hiring managers, offer negotiations, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships Experience proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other industry tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Ability to work well under time constraints and meet tight deadlines

Ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally

Proficiency in using ATS (Workday preferred) and other recruiting technologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented and capable of working in a changing, fast-paced environment

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.   Environment where pets are present.

The target pay range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
