We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and data-driven to join our Talent Acquisition team, based in our Head Quarters office in Brussels, Belgium.

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a key role in building and growing our global recruitment programs. You will partner with internal stakeholders and the external recruitment teams to ensure that the talent acquisition strategies align with business goals. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, leveraging data insights, and driving a seamless hiring experience in UCB’s fastest growing division.

Who you’ll work with

You will work directly with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and lead all recruitment, branding and internal mobility activities for the production, engineering and manufacturing group in UCB.

You will collaborate directly with talent partners & business leaders, and you will manage the global external recruitment provider. Your role will involve strategic discussions with senior leadership to shape hiring strategies and ensure smooth operational execution.

What success will look like:

Delivery of the strategic objectives (volume, time and quality of hire) under your responsibility in alignment with global standards of TA performance and UCB valuesDesign and build the best programs to attract talent into a critical business area for UCB’s success, from early pipelining of talent to internal and external marketingSupport the global design, implementation and performance of a new recruitment experience for candidates, recruiters and hiring managersSupport the build of total workforce visibility by establishing data-driven forecasts for workforce planning, and ensuring recruitment strategies meet current and future talent needs effectivelyStrengthen employer branding initiatives, ensuring the organization attracts diverse talent through well-planned campaignsDesign and maintain recruitment reporting processes to provide insights for decision-making, track hiring metrics, and optimize recruitment strategies effectively.Lead external recruitment teams, ensuring they align with organizational goals, improve performance, and adhere to best-in-class hiring practices.

 

What will it take to succeed? Experience, and skills:

10+ years of recruitment experience, including 5+ years managing teams, with a focus on talent strategy and operational execution.Knowledge of recruitment laws, GDPR compliance, diversity hiring, and employer brandingLeadership with kindness, patience, understanding and listening, and a coaching mindset that fosters collaborationA thirst for data-based knowledge, analytics and recruitment metrics to measure hiring performance, optimize processes, and make informed decisions.Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, advanced process engineering or manufacturing, to ensure compliance and best practicesBe open to traveling globally (10%) when required
