Talent Acquisition Assistant
**Overview** The **Talent Acquisition Assistant** works closely with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to deliver top talent for Institute vacancies cost-effectively and efficiently. The Talent Acquisition Assistant will coordinate the full life cycle recruitment process for entry-level positions that include posting positions, sourcing, interviewing, and assisting with the offer process while following state and federal employment laws and Kennedy Krieger policy. **Responsibilities** 1. Entry-level, high-volume recruitment: Assists TA team and hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs and coordinate full life cycle recruitment process. Follows recruitment plans for entry-level positions within the Institute and assists TA Team with other positions as needed. Pre-screens, tests, and interviews talent and recommends candidates for manager interview. 2. Applicant Tracking: Utilizes and maintains Applicant Tracking System (icims/Lawson). Checks pipeline daily, screens, routes and rejects candidates. Solicits and documents candidate status updates. Updates interview notes and ensures accurate rejection status codes. Fills vacancies in icims and Lawson. 3. Candidate Relations: Responds to applicant inquiries lawfully and professionally and represents the Institute at a variety of on-campus and community events for recruitment and outreach purposes. Registers and keeps master job fair and event calendar. 4. Employee Referral Incentives: Audit eligibility for employee referral incentives payments and enter initial and subsequent referral incentive payment details into Navigator. Respond to employee and departmental questions pertaining to referral incentive payments and process. 5. Community Partnerships: develops and maintains relationships with various employment center and workforce development agencies. Liaison with BCPS workforce readiness programs and other high schools. 6. Operations: Maintain and organize TA supplies/closet. Order giveaways, print flyers, maintain displays and job fair materials. Submit and pay TA related invoices. Maintain recruiter e-mail box. Send regular TA metrics and reports to Director and Sr. VP of HR. **Qualifications** **EDUCATION:** Must possess a High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in a related field such as business or human resources). **EXPERIENCE:** At least 2 years of administrative experience and some experience in Talent Acquisition or HR preferred. **Benefits** Kennedy Krieger Institute offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement, free parking and child care subsidies!
