PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Site Manager plans, directs, controls, and monitors all aircraft maintenance and support programs to ensure satisfactory completion of experimental and developmental test program objectives. The Site Manager reports to the Director of Aviation Operations and is responsible for the day to day operation of the repair station. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Allocates resources to meet ever-changing mission requirements and ensures the maintenance organization is not overly tasked with augmentation duties outside maintenance functional areas. Plans and directs project execution; monitors and develops reports on progress. 
Manages all maintenance, PC, QC, and aviation logistics personnel.Ensures all maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations are completed in accordance with Yulista policies and applicable technical data.Ensure there is a sufficient number of employees with appropriate training, knowledge and experience to perform work authorized by operations specifications.Ensure adequate fire-fighting equipment is available and all personnel are trained in its use and location.Ensure that all personnel are trained in appropriate safety practices and procedures, and all fire and safety equipment is maintained in serviceable condition.Provide a point of contact for customer needs and concerns.Ensure technicians have the appropriate current technical data available during the performance of all maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration activities.Ensure that the appropriate equipment, tools and materials are located on the premises and under proper levels of control when work is being performed.Ensure that all shop equipment and tools are maintained in good working order, measuring and test equipment calibration is current, and the premises is maintained in a clean and organized order.Controlling and scheduling maintenance workflow.Ensure continuity of maintenance and inspection when personnel or shift changes occurs.Ensure that all maintenance or alteration processes are appropriately completed and documented on all maintenance forms.Establish and maintain employee training records, in coordination with Yulista policies.Continuously review the employee training program to ensure all training needs are met.Utilize established financial tracking tools to manage funding burn rates and assist with process improvement initiatives based on data derived from these reports.Modify or develop system-based tools designed to improve turn around times, cost reductions and KPI’s.Work with Government assigned DCMA representatives to maintain contract compliance, safety and quality objectives of the programMaintain AS9110 compliance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have direct reports. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Must be able to lead a team in providing modifications to aviation systems. Non-recurring engineering in support of Depot level documents associated with Department of Defense aviation modifications, the application of these modifications to the fleet, and the logistics support activities associated with supporting aviation customers. Management of Aviation operations that includes resources, both personnel and primary facilities, in order to manufacture modifications and support the modifications in an expeditious manner to meet urgent customer schedules.Manage requirements for modification kit final development, production, and installation. Must have verifiable experience and a proven ability to determine requirements, personnel, repair parts, time, allocation, and facility requirements necessary to perform maintenance actions at aviation facility.Must have an extensive working knowledge of both military and general aviation aircraft and maintenance principles. Must have verifiable experience with maintenance requirements at the organizational, intermediate, and particularly depot levels.Requires thorough experience in maintenance and completion of aircraft forms, logbooks and other maintenance records.Must possess effective communicative skills, both oral and written, to deal with corporate and customer concerns. Must have a proven history of reliability and demonstrated initiative with proactive supervisory management skills as an aircraft mechanic and supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 20 years related aviation experience.More than 10 years USAF maintenance experience preferredMinimum of 10 years supervisory experience Must be able to pass a drug screening.Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
