An amazing number, but we’re always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with. **The opportunity** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated T2 Analyst to join our Cyber Defense Center (CDC) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical incident response (IR) and forensic analysis. Additionally, the T2 Analyst will fine-tune correlation rules, enable data enrichment, and optimize processes according to IR demands. **How you’ll spend your day** • Perform Tier 2 analysis, including forensic analysis and incident response. • Join T2 as an on call senior analyst shifts • Fine-tune correlation rules to enhance detection and response capabilities. • Enable data enrichment to provide more context and insights for IR activities. • Optimize CDC IR processes and workflows according to IR demands. • Support project initiatives related to the CDC on demand . • Serve as additional connection between the CDC SecOps and IR teams. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to CDC junior analysts globally . **Your experience and qualifications** • Proven experience in technical incident response (IR) and forensic analysis. • Experience with Splunk and other SOAR tools. • Ability to fine-tune correlation rules and enable data enrichment. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IR in a large CDC/SOC.
