Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Maintenance Technician ​to join us at our diverse team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of the equipment assigned, executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs at the extrusion area or other area assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

1. Strictly follow up EHS procedures and standards.
2. Direct safety participation, usage of tag in/out LOTO procedure for equipment access.
3. Reviewing and interpretation of electrical diagrams, plans and technical drawings
4. Generate or modify machine programs, Laser Lincs, pullers, Vulcans, coilers, inkjets, metal detectors, flame annealers and vacuum tanks.
5. Implement corrective maintenances applied to his area, machines and equipment.
6. Execute preventive maintenance to equipment that is inactive during the week or programmed.
7. Implement equipment or process improvements proactively.
8. Identify, solve and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problems in the production team.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Electromechanics or Mechatronic Technical Degree (Engineer career is a plus) Experience of 1 year (preferably) on automated equipment. 2 years' experience in preventive maintenance Experience and skill in handling mechanical tools, electrical and electronic Measurement equipment. Basic PLC programming skills Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements Employee Benefits
