Systems Engineer Senior

Our work depends on Systems Engineer Senior joining our team to provide proactive, technical systems integration support to fast-paced operational projects. The ideal candidate will benefit from knowledge of software development, systems and enterprise architecture, software engineering, data engineering/management, and general problem-solving skills. In addition to embodying a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, a successful candidate should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of operations and their relevant support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience
● Required Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practicesAbility to facilitate and support Scrum eventsFamiliarity with technologies such as Windows, Linux, NiFi, Storage, Oracle, Greenplum, Hadoop, HPCC, and Elastic Search.


● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly
● Required Skills and Abilities:

Support the development of a strategy to help define the program’s technical direction, such as by leading technical planning activities including roadmap development and systems integrationParticipate in development of technical project plans, reports, and contract (e.g., PMR) briefingsEnsure program documentation to include inventory, licensing, procurement is kept up to dateLeverage industry/government standards and widely accepted best practices to define processes and procedures that ensure secure and reliably functioning systems and servicesAssist in identifying and tracking of program action items, tracking and monitoring of ongoing projects and initiatives, coordination of project schedule(s), and capturing meeting minutesIdentify programmatic and technical risks to the program, and work with teams to address and mitigate these risksAssist the program with assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirementsCollaborate with customers and program leadership to set priorities, implement tasking, and provide deliverables that are compliant with project schedules, priorities, and standardsCollaborate with a variety of customers and contractors, which may include technical consultation, meeting coordination and support (e.g., TEMs), and preparation/support of technical briefings

Demonstrated experience in:

tailoring project management and systems engineering fundamentals in complex environmentsoptimizing work processes within the operations and support functions of the systems lifecycleproviding program coordination supporteffectively communicating (verbally and in writing) across programs and with clients, stakeholders, and other contractorsmanaging priorities across multiple projectsStrong Microsoft Office skills, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and VisioExperience validating requirements with cross functional teams of engineer, data scientists, analysts and other senior level technical staff
