SUMMARY  

The Systems Integration Specialist will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of innovative solutions that enhance BGIS’ Omni Channel Support Ticketing Platform (Ivanti ITSM) and optimize the user experience of team members who use it. This role leverages a strong technical background to identify manual processes that need improvement and deploy automated and integrated solutions within the platform to drive efficiency and team member satisfaction. 

Working in collaboration with the IT Service Management team to support the broader BGIS business, the Systems Integration Specialist is expected to demonstrate initiative and work effectively in a team environment. The broader objective of the team is to implement the Enterprise Service Desk model across HR, Finance, AP, Sourcing, Facilities, IT, and QMS, ensuring seamless integration of technologies, tools and resources across company domains.

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

Integration

Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Ivanti modules and services. Implement and enhance the Ivanti platform per business requirements. Collect, consolidate, and analyze metrics to facilitate decisions related to service improvements.  Identify and analyze technical problems, and design, code, test, maintain, support, and document the appropriate IT Service Management solutions.  Facilitate the integration of other third-party software with the Ivanti ITSM platform. Prepare and present ITSM topics at team and department level meetings.  Focus on KPI measurements and provide a means for gathering and reporting on data.

Operational Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational support issues related to the Ivanti Platform. Identify problems, research solutions, reconfigure and/or reprogram the system to improve functionality. Manage and optimize the SQL databases underpinning the Ivanti platform, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance. Operate and provide day-to-day administration of the ITSM tool, following defined ITSM and ITIL processes. Maintain and enhance a Service Catalog representing business services. 

Innovation

Perform unit testing and install new modules, releases and version upgrades. Develop and modify Ivanti workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, menus, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, ACLs, UI Pages and Scripted REST APIs. Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, and Python to automate tasks, customize workflows, and improve the efficiency of service desk team members. Present problem analysis and recommend solutions in a creative and logical manner.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related applicable certifications. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Ivanti Platform Development or equivalent. Experience interfacing with ITSM technologies across different platforms. Expertise in XML, HTML, Web Services, JSON.      Experience configuring and maintaining a workflow management system. Experience in the management and administration of information technology services.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

Ivanti certification or equivalent experience (asset).  ITIL certification (asset).
