We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer  to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsCreate and maintain system architecture and troubleshooting documentationPrepare plans and assessments, such as management engineering plans, integrated support plans, meeting presentations and implementation plansResearch and documents analysis in technical reports and presents findings and recommendations to meet program requirements  Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testingContributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projectsDevelops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problemsPerform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endOversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools Identify and document methodologies, approaches, interfaces, and system-level and business-level processes for componentsPerforms complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPerforms continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problemsPerform detailed reviews and analysis of system-level interactions, data flows and interfaces and develop appropriate functional, data, component, and system-level groupingsMonitor, analyze, & report information on system performance; identify inefficiencies, issues, and bottlenecksDevelop integrated system requirements and proposed design solutions          Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems
