Join our innovative team as an IT Systems Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the heartbeat of our translation technology! You'll be responsible for ensuring our MemoQ (CAT tool) and Job Management Tool are always operating at peak performance, both of which rely on robust MS SQL databases. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES + Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our MemoQ and Job Management systems to ensure uninterrupted service. + Perform regular database maintenance tasks to optimize performance and ensure data integrity. + Collaborate with our translation and project management teams to address any technical issues and improve system efficiency. + Implement updates, patches, and upgrades to keep our systems current and secure. + Maintaining backend technical support for Lionbridge + Admin activities on servers/databases (managing users, backups, updates, upgrades, hot-fixes, server monitoring) + Organize server/database updates/migrations in cooperation with IT department + Network configuration and troubleshoot network related issues (ports, firewalls) + Support application deployment (tests, account management) + Performing research and analysis of reported problems and issues, developing and recommending best possible solution + Involvement in operational planning, creating standard operating procedures and policies.
