Description
The Systems Engineer performs technical planning system integration verification and validation cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept design fabrication test installation operation maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis timeline analysis detail trade studies requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The candidate selected for this position will server as a systems engineer on an Agile Scrum team and will support requirements decomposition CONOPS development Use Case diagram development Interface diagram development technical writing manage design reviews test plan development system test and MBSE artifact development. The individual will be placed on an Agile Scrum team that supports the infrastructure of the F-35 Pilot Training Devices simulator.
Skills & Qualifications
Must have:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree
HW/SW architecture development
Experience performing requirements decomposition, allocation, and/or interface definition
Technical background in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Architecture
Experience developing architectures and/or requirements
Plus:
Agile Scrum experience
Experience performing Systems Engineering activities associated with Model Based applications
Experience with Development and Operations (DevOps) technologies
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with subordinates, peers, team members, and the customer at both programmatic and technical levels
Lifecycle management experience

The pay range for this position is $39.50 - $65.00
