KBR has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. An active SECRET clearance is required. The ideal candidate will be located in the San Diego, CA area, however, working from any KBR operating location is acceptable with potential telework available.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) program office in reviewing, assessing, and testing of design solutions supporting the program’s ground control infrastructure.Provide capability designs for operating systems, commercial network hardware, and software in execution of obsolescence and collapsing network devices (architecture, routers, switches, firewalls) for MUOS unclassified enclaves.Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.Will need to think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills.Work with a dispersed teamTravel up to 25% of the time to support program implementation and test events.

Basic Compensation: $160,000 - $190,000

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
