Description

As a System Designer, you will be involved in the complete system development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers. You will apply and maintain the various development standards imposed by the avionics field while bettering the industry standards for the GNSS and developing innovative solutions.

As a system designer you will:

Participate in the development of new GNSS system solutions that will revolutionize the aerospace industry in accordance with company standard and industry methodologies;Design GNSS system that will meet and exceed the performance required by the industry;Participate to all phases of the development including peer reviews;Resolve multiple technical challenges related to new and existing technologies;Discuss with customer to understand their problems and proposed valuable solutions;Act as a key player in the development, integration, and formalization phases of our GNSS receiver solutions.

Top Skills Details

Experience in digital signal processing;Ability to communicate complex information to technical and nontechnical users; work closely with AEH and SW developers in the implementation and validation of the requirementsAdvanced analytical, troubleshooting, and design skills;

ASSETS:

Knowledge on GPS/GNSS receiver theory, design, and application;Familiar with minimum operational performance requirements DO178, DO-229, DO-253, DO-401;Familiar with Requirements management systems (DOORS);Familiar with simulation tools such as Matlab and Simulink;Experience in avionics developmentBilingual - French and English.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
