Hello, future Systems Analyst
Role Purpose
The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements and producing systems requirements that support the implementation of solutions. Continuous systems analysis of the existing systems to improve efficiencies and provide the support of the developed systems requirements throughout the software development life cycle.
Role responsibilities include:
Analyze detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop systems specification requirements.
Create conceptual and technical system designs such as data models, interface designs, and workflow diagrams.
Analyze existing company processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and automation.
Perform feasibility studies to evaluate proposed system solutions.
Collaborate with project stakeholders from the business, product and technology streams.
Create comprehensive documentation for all stages of the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance stages of a project.
Liaise with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to ensure clear communication of project objectives and deliverables.
Participate in system testing to ensure developed systems meet quality standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements.

Review the work and proposals of team members in the role’s areas of specialization and accountability.
Encourage team to work collaboratively to contribute to achieving the team’s business outcome.
Contribute to program/project quality.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree or National Diploma: BSc Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and/or System Engineering.
Preferred Qualification: A relevant Honours degree
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Systems Analyst role.
