Systems Analyst I
Description We are seeking a diligent Systems Analyst I within the Financial Services industry, to be based in NEW YORK, New York, United States. This role involves the utilization of your extensive skills in Workday, Workday Financial Management, Workday Studio, SQL, Snowflake, and Qlik Sense, to support our team in maintaining and enhancing our financial systems. Responsibilities: • Take on the role of subject matter expert for Workday Financials, including its integrations with internal and third-party systems. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements, translating these into functional and technical specifications. • Contribute significantly to the delivery of IT development services, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and compliance standards. • Handle technical administration tasks for Workday, including Workday Studio integrations, data loads, troubleshooting, and scheduled tasks. • Design and implement test plans to ensure systems meet specified requirements and perform as expected. • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. • Monitor and troubleshoot job scheduling issues, ensuring timely execution of critical processes. • Create, modify, and support reports and dashboards using tools such as Snowflake, Crystal Reports, or QlikSense. • Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data analysis, integration, and reporting tasks. • Collaborate with developers and architects to design solutions that are scalable, efficient, and compliant with IT best practices. • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to entry level analysts and business partners. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Financial Services industry as a Systems Analyst or related role. • Demonstrated proficiency in Workday and Workday Financial Management. • Solid experience with Workday Studio is required. • Proficiency in SQL is a crucial requirement for this role. • Hands-on experience with Snowflake is a significant advantage. • Proficiency in Qlik Sense is highly desirable. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Must be a team player and capable of working collaboratively with different teams. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
