Job Skills & Responsibilities + Conducts regular monitoring of infrastructure components and systems to identify performance issues or anomalies. Analyzes collected data, establishes performance baselines, and creates reports to identify trends and potential areas of improvement. + Collaborates with team to implement performance tuning strategies and optimize system resources for better efficiency. + Troubleshoots and resolves complex hardware and software issues, engage in vendor technical support as necessary. + Contributes to the design and configuration of hardware and software systems, considering scalability, performance, and security aspects. Builds and deploys infrastructure components, ensuring proper configuration and integration. + Actively participates in knowledge sharing activities, collaborates with team members to identify gaps in knowledge and propose solutions to improve documentation and information sharing. + Performs routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure uninterrupted and optimum system performance. + Communicates effectively with stakeholders, aligning the understanding of the requirements with appropriate Midstream IT teams and MPL stakeholders. + Ensure that governance, regulation, and compliance standards and requirements are followed and met. + Monitor and maintain IDS + Administration of cybersecurity protection platforms and tools for endpoint management + Monitor and maintain audit and vulnerability scans + Oversee periodic system patching activities including software applications and firmware updates. + Coordinate with key stakeholders on patching activities. + Maintain scripts used for automation of repetitive patching steps. + Install assigned patches in planned phases and + Collaborate with application testers to confirm functionality at key milestones. + Backup solution administration + Administration of Microsoft user and domain management systems + Expect up to 20% travel Education & Experience + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Systems Security, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences) or equivalent experience. + Experience working with OT related systems and processes + Experience managing enterprise level backup solution + Experience with Windows System Administration + Experience with Virtualization System Administration + Experience with Managing periodic system updates, especially security patching + Experience with intrusion detection systems (IDS) As an energy industry leader, our career opportunities fuel personal and professional growth.
