Systems Administrator II Business Unit United Wholesale Mortgage Location US-MI-Pontiac  

The Systems Administrator II will work with internal and external clients to support enterprise implementations of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Windows DFS, Active Directory, ADFS, Qumulo, MECM(SCCM) and other various technologies. This position will collaborate with a team of administrators and engineers to support, manage, and make improvements to all these platforms. This position requires an understanding and a desire to improve in the realm of Microsoft technologies including but not limited to Active Directory, M365, Exchange, DFS, DNS, and ADFS, as well as NAS solutions such as Qumulo and Nasuni.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Support and maintaining our Application infrastructure including Active Directory, M365, ADFS, DFS, DNS, Exchange, MECM (SCCM) and our NAS solutions Schedule and execute change controls in accordance with IT policies and procedures.Execution of patching windows and endpoint management changes.Performance monitoring and retuning, support across production and pre-production environments in multiple physical locations.Provide regular status reports to stakeholders on tasks accomplished, current issues and progress toward goals. Automate routine tasks with PowerShell.Recommend and implement improvements in the technologies supported by the team as described aboveAct as an escalation point for any incidents related to our supported technologiesWork closely with other members of Information Technology team to assist with project implementations and other tasks as requested.Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed.Seeking a constantly developing and improving skillset around the supported technologies. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

2 or more years’ Information Technology experience.Working knowledge/understanding of Windows Server operating systemsEnterprise-level Active Directory (Certificates/DHCP/DNS/GPO/MECM/SCCM/etc.) experience.Experience supporting M365 and/or Microsoft Exchange and TeamsExperience executing simple tasks in PowerShellStrong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

BS or BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.Mortgage and/or Financial Services industry experience.Any recognized IT certifications (MCP, MCSE, VCP, etc.).Experience with Azure/AWS/Google Cloud and/or cloud migration.Experience with IIS Web Server deployment best practices.Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.Experience with Nasuni, Qumulo, Pure FlashBlade, or other enterprise NAS solutions THE PLACE & THE PERKS
